cucumbers definately—we used to grow both and the tomatoes would get the “tomato caterpillar” it is disgusting and huge–they would freak me out when i was younger~~~~~~~~~~ewwwwww

Although I love them both, if I had to choose, I would grow tomatoes because you can eat them raw, cooked, broiled, baked, etc.

Tomatoes are so easy, cukes take forever and they need tons more water a day. I have a very nice garden.

I grow tomatoes because they are easier to grow and eat them more than cucumbers

Cucumbers. I don’t like tomatoes. I like ketchup, but not tomatoes. yuck! Plus, cucumbers are nice and crunchy.

Both. Add a few pepper stalks, too. That makes a yummy salad.
As to why. . . well. . . why not?
This years crop was poor, though. The weather is too hot and the plants just wither.

i’d grow tomatoes because i like tomatoes much more than cucumbers and they are healthier than the cucumbers.
