Our arugula is finished for a few months. I heard it is best to plant it in the spring and fall. But, now there is room to plant something low.
We already have cucumbers, 3 different tomatoes, red and green peppers, eggplant, broccoli, carrots, basil, dill, oregano and parsley.
We just need suggestions what can be planted now in the NY, NJ area.
Thanks.

I’m not sure how large the root system needs to get for eggplants. I have a Lg pot – about 14″ across- I could put the plant in. How about cucumber or zucchini plant in a pot w/ a trellis?

Hi, does anyone know a good recipe for a dip to server with slices of cucumber, carrots and bell pepper?
They usually server that in restaurants, its white and it has a garlic flavour. What is that!
Thanks

Seedlings doing well, but I live in WI (first time gardener). Growing snap peas, cucumbers and spinach among a few others. Also I have several types of flowers. All seem like they are ready to be moved to larger pots!

so for the past 3… 4 years ive been grownin plants and they started bad and now im really good at the gardening process but for the first time this year i bought cumcumbers…never grown them before have no clue about them…they are dying…they are yellow and some of the leaves are brown and crispy….there has been extreme heat and when it rains its been for days and they have gotten soaked…the dirt was mudd so i moved them to new soil and a bigger pot…but they arent pickin up is there anything i can give them or do to re start themselves

My parents have a little vegetable garden and, to make a long story short, they had a huge crop this year and gave me about 100 cucumbers and now I have no idea what to do with them. I’ve already eaten about 20 regular green salads with cucumbers and a tzatziki (no idea how to spell that, sorry… i’m talking about that tasty greek yogurt thing).
Does anyone else have any good cucumber recipes?
