I just planted cucumber seeds two – three weeks ago, they are seedlings now but still have not yet grown their true leaves, but now they appear to be wilting. There is no fungus and they have not been exposed to any bugs. ( Ive been growing them inside ) They haven’t been over watered. Have i done something wrong, and how can i save them?
-Thanks
can i start with water melon strawberrys cucumbers
I have fresh summer squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers I just picked out of the garden and I am wanting to cook a healthy lunch with them. I’ve Google some recipes but can’t really find anything… Help?! My only request is not to use butter or mayo ..think that’s about it.
Thanks!
Can’t beat those big ole cucumbers! And my melons are pretty plentiful too!
We planted some cucumbers down here in south louisiana, and they are so bitter, it’s unedible. They are ending up 12 to 15 inches long, and about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Could this be a type of English cucumber? Does anyone know what type this might be, and how can we get rid of the bitterness? Any input is greatly appreciated.
Looking to try out some new masks, I would love any recipes
Must be found in a home, nothing fancy if you don’t mind
I normally use store bought cucumber peels that sit on your face for about 15-20 minutes, but would love to try something new
can they still be planted and grown or are they useless now?
2006 so 3 years*
Okay, so the planting space I have is about 25 by 15 ft, and half shade, half sun. I
currently have a variety of lettuce seeds, strawberries, raspberries, snow peas, cucumber seeds, tomato plants, pepper plants, bok choy, and kale. Any other suggestions as to what to plant? No corn, since I live in Iowa, haha
I have another area, about 2×6 ft to plant in, and I have no idea what to put there. Would celery be a good choice? Because I find the celery in the grocery stores to be too old and stringy.. What do you guys plant in your yard?
This is my first experience with gardening. I planted cucumbers, broccoli, onions and carrots in early June. The plants are all doing well, but when can I expect some vegetables to be ready? I live in the desert in Southern California, with 100+ temperatures, if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
