I recently had gazpacho with a dinner out with family. It was delicious. I decided to try to find recipes. All of the recipes I’ve found on the internet have cucumber in them. I usually can’t stand cucumbers. But if the gazpacho I had with dinner had cucumber in it, I didn’t pick up on it.

We have four families totaling 15 people who are planting a garden together. We would like to have fresh veggies to eat and some to can and freeze. We plan to put in two types of tomatoes, green beans, sweet corn, cucumbers, several types of peppers, zucchini and butternut squash, etc. We have a large area to plant in and can expand it also if we need to. Any ideas?

I’ve been wanting to plant in my new garden for a while now. First the soil was too hard (rocky clay) so we tilled and added compost and top soil. Then it rained, and after the soil went from perfectly ready to too wet. Now the soil is just moist but it is supposed to rain Sat and Sun. I want to plant two tomato plants, some herbs, and some sunflower cucumber and marigold seed. I thought of putting in the plants friday and the seeds later so they don’t get washed away. What do you think?

I planted cucumbers last week in pots and the seedlings came up with no trouble but now the leaves are starting to curl under all of a sudden. The seedlings themselves are still standing upright though. This is my first year for growing cucumbers. Am I doing something wrong?
